About North Wales

With over 250 miles of coastline, amazing mountains, lakes and glorious countryside, North Wales is a place to be explored.  In fact, it is no wonder that North Wales is known as the ‘adventure capital of the UK’ with plenty of outdoor activities for all ages.  

10 minutes away is Gwrych Castle, location of I’m a Celebrity 2020, you can explore the 19th Century country house.  Indeed, an hour away to Snowdonia National Park where you you see the incredible views from the top of Snowdown.  It is simply one of the Wales’ prettiest places in Wales.

Zip World has a range of amazing activities for all the family.  From the longest, and fastest zip wires in the World to bouncing on an amazing series of trampolines in a former slate mine.  Surf Snowdonia is a 45 minutes drive away and is the World’s first inland surf lagoon!

Rhyl

Well known in North Wales as lively seaside resort, Rhyl’s promenade and harbour is where you will see all the action.  Amusements, shops, bars, Sealife Centre and a new Waterpark to keep all the family entertained. A visit to Britain’s oldest miniature railway line around Marine Lake is a must for all ages.

 

Conwy

The walled town of Conwy is one of the most impressive fortresses you will see in Wales. A visit to Conwy Castle is a must or enjoy a relaxed walk along the Castle walls.  At The Quay, you will find the smallest house in Britain and a short walk will take you to the marina.  This North Wales town has plenty of quaint and traditional pubs, restaurants and cafes.  So you can relax and take in the laid back atmosphere.

Llandudno

This North Wales Victorian seaside town is popular with both locals and tourists.  Whether it’s for shopping or sightseeing, Llandudno has it all. The Great Orme is a must, where you can take the tramline, cable car, walk or drive to enjoy the stunning views.  You may even get to say hello to the famous Great Orme Goats that made the headlines during Covid-19. A stroll along the famous pier is highly recommended.  For a more active experience, then the ski slope is for you.
